ALGARVE, UMA REGIÃO PARACAMINHAR TODO O ANO
O AWS - Algarve Walking Season é um projecto regional de promoção conjunta de festivais de caminhadas no Algarve, iniciativa da Cooperativa QRER
em parceria com a Região de Turismo do Algarve.
Trata-se de um aposta regional em promover de forma integrada e em cooperação, os festivais existentes no Algarve, nomeadamente o Walking Festival Ameixial - o primeiro do género a realizar-se no Algarve, e por ventura em Portugal - e o Festival de Caminhadas de Alcoutim. No Outono, contamos com um festival a Barlavento, o Barão de São João Walk & Art Fest.
Desta forma, o calendário AWS - Algarve Walking Season 2019 promove:
A coordenação do projecto é da responsabilidade da QRER - Cooperativa para o Desenvolvimento dos Territórios de Baixa Densidade, em articulação com a Região de Turismo do Algarve, e em parceria do Municipio de Alcoutim e da Associação Almargem.
A iniciativa foi aprovada ao abrigo de uma candidatura à Linha de Apoio à Valorização Turística do Interior, promovida pelo Turismo de Portugal/Região de Turismo do Algarve.

The AWS - Algarve Walking Season is a regional project to promote a calendar of walking festivals in the Algarve, an initiative from QRER Cooperative in partnership with the
Algarve Tourism Bureau.
It is a regional bet to promote in an integrated and cooperative way, the festivals in the Algarve, namely the Walking Festival Ameixial- the first of its kind to be held in the Algarve, and perhaps in Portugal - and the Alcoutim Walking Festival and a third festival to be held in November.
AWS - Algarve Walking Season 2019 calendar is promoting:
The project manager is QRER - Cooperative for the Development of Low Density Territories, with sponsorship from the Algarve Tourism Bureau, and in partnership with the Alcoutim Municipality and Almargem NGO.
The initiative was approved under a support line from Portugal Tourism Bureau / Algarve Tourism Bureau.
